The Aurora University women's hockey team wasted no time in jumping out to a lead in the weekend series with CUW. AU led 2-0 after the first period and held on to win with the sixth shutout of the season from Chiara Pfosi, 3-0.

- AU and Olivia Matson scored 4:30 into the game with Olivia Buzzelli assisting on the play.
- Late in the first, AU went to their second power play of the period. 1:10 into the extra skater, Makenna Brownlee found the back of the net. Her unassisted tally put AU up 2-0.
- The second and third periods saw AU out shoot CUW 35-20 but the game remain 2-0 Spartans.
- With 1:38 left in the game, CUW pulled their goalie for an extra skater.
- 16 seconds later, Darci Matson put the game to bed with the empty net goal on a Mak Cooke assist.
- The shutout from Chiara Pfosi and the AU defense stood up, the sixth time this season as AU won 3-0.
