The Aurora University men's hockey team rallied from a two goal deficit to force overtime but fell 4-3 in the overtime session to St. Norbert College 4-3.

- AU found themselves trailing 2-0 after the opening 20 minutes of play.
- Midway through the second period, the Spartans found the back of the SNC net.
- Larry Jungwirth scored to cut the deficit to one with an assist from Connor Smith at 9:12.
- SNC scored to go up 3-1 in the third.
- After the goal, AU went to the power play and 40 seconds later cut the deficit back to one with the power play tally. 
- Derrick Budz got the power play goal with an assist from Adam Keyes.
- The Spartans continued to pressure the hosts and at 14:36, Simon Boyko tied the game.
- The Boyko goal was assisted by LA Grissom and Matt Weber.
- The game remained tied 3-3 over the final five minutes of action.
- A three on three overtime session was on the docket.
- 1:50 into the five minute overtime, SNC scored to win 4-3.
