The Aurora University women's soccer team defeated the Rockford University Regents 3-0 on a rare on campus contest on Vago Field Tuesday afternoon.

RECORDS: Aurora University 6-7-3 overall and 4-6 in the NACC; Rockford University 3-12 overall and 0-10 in the NACC
 

- Abby Kay got the Spartans on the scoreboard early in the first-half to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Spartans controlled the remaining of the first-half keeping the Regents from recording a shot on goal.
- Just over 7:30 into the second half the Spartans added to their lead. Lauren Bliefernicht scored off a rebound from Jessica Mirsky.
- With AU controlling possession on their offensive end of the field for the entire second-half, the Spartans added a goal in the 73rd minute,
- Cassandra Garcia put back a loose ball off an original shot and assist from Lindsay Ferris.
- The goalkeeping combination of Kelsey Deck and Lindsey Cepa made the shutout stick as AU won 3-0.
