The Aurora University women's basketball team fell in the Webster University tip-off classic final 70-56 to the hosts. A pair of Spartans, Macey Kocen and Eliot Dojutrek were selected to the All-Tournament Team.

- The Spartans started slow and trailed 10-0 before a Gabrielle Wolff three 3:56 into the game made it 10-3.
- AU would trail after one quarter 23-13.
- The Spartans battled in the second but trailed going to halftime 39-28.
- AU used an 11-0 run to end the third quarter to cut the deficit to five at 48-43.
- Kylie Fischbach had four points and three each from Selena Vargas and Macey Kocen in the run.
- The quarter stoppage was not kind to the Spartans as the deficit grew back to double digits and they would fall 70-56.
