The Aurora University men's soccer team will head to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship for the second time in program history and first time since the 2006 season. The Spartans received a Pool A berth as they finished the regular season with a 10-3-6 overall record and won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament Championship.
The Spartans will travel to the Gustavus Adolphus College pod and take on the hosts on Saturday, November 12. Game time has set for 11:00 a.m. in Saint Peters, Minnesota. Other teams in the Gustavus pod include Luther College and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire..

The Spartan men's soccer program, under the direction of Head Coach Ryan Lakin will make its second NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championships appearance. On the season, AU was 0-0-2 against the two opponents who also made the 2022 NCAA field of 64.
AU is led by NACC First-Team All-Conference selections, senior defender
Connor Erickson (one goal and one assist while anchoring the AU defense that allows 1.11 goals against and has five shutouts) and junior midfielder
Enrique Gonzalez (AU's top scorer tallying 12 goals and five assists on the season). Senior goalkeeper
Jalen Depenbrock, senior defender
Evan Kocsis and senior midfielder
Sal Garcia all earned Second-Team All-Conference selections to help lead the Spartans to the NCAA field in 2022.
