The Aurora University women's volleyball team will head to the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship for the fifth time in program history and will do so in each of the last five playing seasons. The Spartans received a Pool A berth as they finished the regular season with a 22-9 overall record and won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament Championship.

The Spartans will travel to the Calvin University regional and take on the hosts on Thursday, November 10. Game time has been set for 8:00 p.m. (est) / 7:00 p.m. (cst) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Other teams in the regional include: Washington University, St. Louis, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Otterbein University, Hope College, Millikin University and Wittenberg University..Â

The Spartan women's volleyball program, under the direction of Head Coach James Seitelman, who recently won his 200th game at AU, will make its fifth NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championships appearance. On the season, AU was 2-4 against the six opponents who also made the 2022 NCAA field of 64.
AU is led by senior outside hitter Sydnei Avery, the 2022 NACC Player of the Year led AU with a 3.97 per set average and a .263 hitting percentage. Senior setter Kaitlyn Beebe averages 9.52 assists, 1.91 kills and 2.15 digs per set while senior middle Addy Gruse averages 2.07 kills and 0.91 blocks per set. Both Beebe and Gruse were selected to the 2022 NACC First-Team All-Conference Team.
