The Aurora University women's basketball hosted Principia College at Waubonsee Community College for the final game of their 2022 schedule. The Spartan offense struggled to get going in the first quarter, shooting just 29% but the continued to chip away in the remaining three periods and were victorious 84-76.

- The Spartans got off to a slow start falling behind 8-0 early in the first-quarter.
- After an AU time-out and 3:40 into the game ,a basket by Gabrielle Wolff got the Spartan offense going.
- A three from Talia Bee with 2:32 left pulled AU to within three at 13-10.
- The Spartans would trail after one quarter 24-12.
- The second quarter saw the Spartans start to chip away and battle back opening with an 8-0 run.
- A Jaylah Mays lay-up with 1:51 to play in the first-half tied the game 31-31.
- With less than a minute on the clock, Crystal Rios hit a three pointer to give AU their first lead of the night and headed into halftime 34-33.
- AU opened the second-half on a 12-0 run with five points each from Macy Kocen and Eliot Dojutrek.
- After Principia battled back in, the third quarter remained tightly played as the quarter saw five lead changes and three ties.
- A basket as time expired in the third by Sam Barrett gave AU a one point lead, heading into the final quarter 57-56.
- The fourth quarter was much like the third with the Spartans opening up a larger lead to start the period.
- A 10-2 AU run gave the Spartans a 67-58 lead with 7:42 to play.
- Principia managed to get within four (75-71) with 2:20 to play.
- The Spartans closed out the game in the final two minutes though, building back a comfortable lead and winning 84-76.
