The Aurora University men's basketball team welcomed Monmouth College in the final contest of the 2022 calendar year on Lancaster Court. The Spartans defeated the visiting Scots 76-64.

- A driving layup from Nolan Boffman with 10:35 would be the last lead change of the game as the Spartans led 18-16.
- The Spartans finished the final 5:25 of the first-half on a 16-4 run, taking a 26-22 lead and expanding it to 42-26.
- Justin Wilson led the Spartans with 10 first-half points and Julian Gatewood added eight.
- A bucket from Gatewood and a three from Trey Jenkins gave the Spartans a 21-point lead and extended the scoring run to 21-4.
