The Aurora University women's basketball team had the 2021-2022 season come to an end in the quarterfinal round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament as the Spartans fell at Edgewood College 70-62.

- The first quarter had the Spartans and Eagles trade leads throughout.
- AU closed out the first on a 5-0 run with a late three from Julie Galauner giving the Spartans a 16-13 lead.
- A 10-2 Edgewood run started the second quarter and AU trailed 23-18.
- The Spartans then answered with a 9-2 run fueled by seven Crystal Rios points.
- The teams headed to halftime tied 29-29.
- The teams opened the second-half like the game trading leads and baskets.
- After three quarters, AU trailed 51-47.
- With 4:39 left in the game, AU was down 10 at 65-55.
- The Spartans cranked up the defense and a 7-0 run go the Spartans to down three (65-62) with 1:20 left.
- AU went cold from the field after though as Edgewood knocked down free-throws.
- The Spartans fell 70-62 and saw their season come to an end.
