The Aurora University men's track team placed fourth in the 2022 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, scoring 93.5 points.
AU was led by sophomore
Robbie Peterson Jr. who won the NACC Field Athlete of the Year after scoring 26 points across his three events. Peterson won triple jump with a jump of 14.33m (47'0.35"). In long jump he placed second with a PR of 6.94 (22'9.25"). This leap moves Peterson to third in AU history. He also placed second in high jump.

Sophomore
Jacob Bohnert won the 5,000 meter with a time of 15:22.52 as the other AU individual champion. This is the fastest time ran in AU history. On day two, Bohnert scored another three points individually in the mile.
Four Spartans finished second or third in their events, led by
Steven Tinsley, second in the shot put (14.28m) and third in the weight throw (13.92m),Â
Jalen Cole second in the weight throw (15.03m),
Danyrine White second in the 400 meter (50.20), this time ranks him second in AU history. White also placed fifth in the 200, scoring an additional four points and running a lifetime PR. and
Eli Grundman third in the pole vault (4.38m).
Malik Whitehead PR'd in long jump, also scoring points, the 4x400 relay of White,
Chase Pruett,
Sam Brown and Bohnert placed fourth, the distance medley relay of
Cormac Dietz,
Liam Evans, Pruett, and Brown placed seventh whileÂ
