The Aurora University men's basketball team hung tough in Lisle at Benedictine University on Monday night but fell 64-54.

- The first-half saw the lead change hands 10 times in a back and forth affair.
- In the later part of the first-half, AU ran off a 9-0 run to take a 21-14 lead. JT Daniels had five points in the run.
- BU responded with a 7-0 run of their own to tie the contest a few minutes later.
- The teams went to halftime tied 29-29.
- 2:22 into the second, Brooks Schoon drained a three to put AU up 36-35.
- The Spartans hit a cold snap from the field after though and over the next five minutes, BU ran off a 15-0 run to take a 50-36 lead.
- AU got the game into a single digit deficit on a couple occasions in the second-half but couldn't get closer than down five.
- The Spartans would fall by a 64-54 final score.
