The Aurora University women's basketball team had a slow start to the NACC contest with Edgewood College and the early deficit was to much to overcome as they fell 91-65.

- The Spartans shot 23% from the field in the first quarter while Edgewood shot over 52%.
- AU trailed 25-8 after the first 10 minutes.
- The second and third quarters were much of the same with Edgewood also holding a decisive advantage in free-throw attempts and one the rebounding battle.
- At halftime, AU trailed 48-23 and was down 72-39 after three.
- The Spartans continued to show life and fought in the fourth quarter, having their best shooting of the night, at over 46%.
- AU would fall 91-65.
- The Spartans were out-rebounded 50-38 and Edgewood went 20-of-30 from the free-throw line to 2-of-5 for AU.
