For the second straight contest, the Aurora University women's lacrosse team defeated a CCIW opponent, this time the visiting Cardinals of North Central College 11-5 on a cold Saturday afternoon.

- AU scored first in a slow starting opening quarter with
Monique Gibson scoring 3:34 into the frame.
- The score remained 1-0 AU until 1:22 left with
Hannah Martindale putting the Spartans up 2-0.
- In the final 15 seconds, the Spartans added two more goals to go up 4-0. Gibson scored with 15 seconds left and then with just over two seconds to play,
Bailey Simpson scored with an assist from
Jalyn Yaukovitz.
- A pair of early second quarter goals from Martindale and
Danielle Cobbett put AU up 6-0.
- With 11:35 left in the second, NCC scored to break the AU shutout attempt.
- Goals from Simpson and Gibson followed and AU led 8-1.
- NCC scored the last goal of the first-half with 6:20 left with AU hitting the post on multiple shot attempts.
- The Spartans led going to halftime 8-2.
- The second-half was lower scoring with each team scoring three times.
