The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) announced the 2021-2022 All-Academic Team. 36 Aurora University Spartan student-athletes, 21 AU men and 15 AU woman were recognized for their academic excellence.
 
To be named to the all-academic team, student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher, must be at least a sophomore and must have lettered at AU.

The AU men led the NCHA with the 21 selections with a league-record 242 student-athletes being honored across the NCHA men's and women's teams. AU super senior Josh Boyko was one of three NCHA student-athletes with the unique four-time NCHA All-Academic honoree following situations in which they are eligible for the award an additional season (marking first such selections since the 2017-18 campaign).

AU hockey seniors LA Grissom, Connor Chilton, Larry Jungwirth, Shawn O'Malley and Dylan Rauh were third-time recipients of the NCHA All-Academic honor, while Mak Cooke, Jack Jaunich, Clay Keeley, Nate Keeley, Adam Keyes, Olivia Matson, Chiara Pfosi, Sadie Parton and Brayden Sampson earned NCHA All-Academic honors for a second time.
