The Aurora University men's lacrosse team hosted the Hornets of Kalamazoo College on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Spartan Athletic Park. The Spartans were victorious 17-9 and recognized their seven seniors in a pregame ceremony.

  - The Hornets got on the board first, scoring 2:05 into the game.
  - AU was quick to answer when
Jimmy Gorecki scored to tie the game 1-1.
  - Less than a minute later, Kalamazoo broke the tie.Â
  - The Spartans added two goals back to back to take a 3-2 lead.
Ben Strub scored first and
Zach Bernstein followed with an assist by
Eli Pangborn.
  - The Hornets added one to tie the game 3-3 going into the second quarter.
  - In the second, Kalamazoo scored the first two goals to take a 5-3 lead.
  - The Spartans dominated the remainder of the quarter scoring six goals led by
Jimmy Gorecki (2) and
Zach Bernstein (2).
  - Going into halftime the Spartans led 9-5.
  - AU came out to start the third quarter with four goals, two coming from
Zach Bernstein.
  - Late in the third, Kalamazoo scored two to break their long scoreless drought.
  - Both the Spartans and Hornets scored one in the final minutes of the third and AU led 14-8.
  - In the fourth, AU added three goals while Kalamazoo added one.
  - The Spartans were victorious 17-9.
