The Aurora University baseball team trailed 2-0 after a half-inning but responded immediately to score 22 unanswered runs and roll past Luther College 22-2 in seven innings on Monday afternoon.
Game One: Aurora University 22, Luther College 2 - 7 innings
Record: Aurora University (8-3)
Location:Â Montgomery, Illinois - Jim Schmid Field
- Luther scored twice in the first on AU starter
Bryce Miller.
- After the first, Miller settled in and allowed just two hits over the next four innings of work.

- In the bottom of the first the Spartans answered quickly with
Corey Vondra reaching on a walk,

- The four runs in the first four batters started 22 unanswered runs scoring for the Spartans.
- AU scored twice in the second on a crazy strikeout wild pitch that scored
Nick Baldassano and
Corey Vondra from second.
- Three hits, a costly Luther error and three runs scored in the third and AU now led 9-2.
Dylan White drove in two in the inning.
