The Aurora University women's hockey team will head to the NCAA Division III Women's Hockey Championships for the first time in program history. The Spartans received a Pool A berth as they finished the regular season with a 22-6 overall record and won the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Slaats Cup Championship.
The Spartans will travel to the University of Wisconsin - River Falls on Wednesday, March 9. Game time has been set for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop in River Falls, Wisconsin.

NCAA Women's Hockey Bracket
The Spartan women's hockey program, under the direction of Head Coach
Jackie Kooistra, will make its first NCAA Division III Women's Hockey Championship appearance in just the fifth year of the program playing competition.

Darci Matson, senior forward
Olivia Matson and freshman forward
Peyton Elliott. Pfosi was named the Slaats Cup MVP and has a 21-5 record in net with eight of the nine AU shutouts.
Darci Matson was the NCHA Freshman of the Year and a member of the Slaats Cup All-Tournament Team. On the season she has 23 goals with 17 assists while her linemate and sister
Olivia Matson was to the NCHA Slaats Cup All-Tournament Team has seven goals and 28 assists. Elliott has 22 goals and 10 assists in her first collegiate season.
