The Aurora University men's lacrosse team opened up an early lead and went on to erase the Eagles of Edgewood College on Saturday in Madison 20-5.

- Zach Bernstein scored 1:00 into the game on an assist from Ben Strub to get the AU scoring started.
- In the next 14 minutes, two goals each from Jimmy Gorecki and Brody Macdonald and one from Carson Leader put AU up 6-0.
- Gorecki picked up a hat trick with his second man-up goal early in the second quarter.
- Just over a minute later, Leader added his second of the day and AU led 8-0.
- AU went to halftime leading 11-2 with Andrew Bittner, Connor Hoeft and Gorecki scoring goals.
- Edgewood cut the AU lead to 11-4 early in the third but the Spartans answered with the next eight goals of the game.
- Macdonald and Bernstein (two) scored in the third to get in the hat trick column.
- The fourth saw AU control the game with goals coming from Mikail Byun, Reilan Pura, Bernstein, Dan Lada, Conor Bolton and Ro Padgett.
- When the final horn sounded, AU won 20-5 with the goalies, Phillip Gianelle, Sam Leavy and Camron Arnaud stopping eight of the 13 shots on net.
