The Aurora University women's lacrosse team saw the highly successful 2022 season come to an end in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday afternoon. AU fell to Rhodes College 24-6 on the campus of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.

- AU trailed 4-0 five minutes into the opening quarter.
- AU's Hannah Martindale struck on the man-up with 6:51 to go. Jalyn Yaukovitz assisted on the play.
- Rhodes controlled the remainder of the first-half and led 15-1 going to halftime.
- During halftime, weather entered the Gambier, Ohio area forcing a delay.
- Monique Gibson scored the lone AU goal in the third quarter and AU trailed 21-2 going to the final 15 minutes.
- The Spartans continued to fight on in the fourth, scoring four times with a pair of goals from Monique Gibson and Bailey Simpson.
- AU would fall by a final score of 24-6.
