The Aurora University women's lacrosse program continued to build on their success in 2022 and while doing so, the Spartans received another attention from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) when the organization announced the 2022 Division III All-Region Teams.

Junior midfielder Monique Gibson earned First-Team All-Region honors and she was joined on the postseason recognition by junior attack Bailey Simpson and senior defender Taylor Sims. Simpson and Sims earned Second-Team All-Region honors.

Gibson was selected to the First-Team All-Region team in a season in which she was previously named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Midfielder of the Year and First-Team All-Conference. She led AU in total points (97), goals (74), and assists (23). She had 17 free-position goals, 151 draw controls, 114 shots on goal and had a .503 shooting percentage.

Simpson and Sims were placed on the Second-Team All-Region team after both earned top honors from the NACC. Simpson was named the NACC Offensive Player of the Year and Sims was named the NACC Defender of the Year. Simpson finished the season with 66 points on 44 goals and 22 assists. She plays a significant role in the Spartans' ability to clear and has caused 26 turnovers while picking up 56 ground balls. Sims is a stand-out defender with solid speed and athleticism. On the season she finished with 20 caused turnovers, 30 draw controls while scoring three goals and two assists.
