The Aurora University men's lacrosse team battled Benedictine University in the final round of the NACC Tournament. The Spartans fell to the Eagles 6-5 in a contest that the Spartans dominated in all aspects but the final score.

- After trailing 1-0, the Spartans got goals from from
Connor Hoeft and
Mikail Byun to lead 2-1 with 6:30 left in the first quarter.
- BU tied the game late in the first to send the teams to the first quarter break tied 2-2.
- Only one goal was scored in the defensively played second and AU trailed 3-2 going to halftime.
- In the second-half, the Spartans out-shot BU 22-12 and rattled the posts on numerous occasions.

Mikail Byun scored his second of the day to tie the game 4-4.
- 44 seconds after BU took a 5-4 lead, Brody Macdonald scored to tie the game again.

- The Spartans pressured and got several good looks late in the fourth but hit the posts including one shot that hit both posts but went out.
