The Aurora University women's volleyball team captured the 2022 Jim Coleman Memorial Classic Tournament title after sweeping the University of Wisconsin Platteville (3-0) and Millikin University (3-1) on day two of the classic. AU was led by Jim Coleman MVP Kaitlyn Beebe and All-Tournament selections Sydnei Avery and Addy Gruse.

vs. University of Wisconsin Platteville
- AU did not trail in the opening set with a narrow early margin becoming as large as nine before the 25-19 win.
- Kate Poellmann came off the AU bench for five kills to lead all players.
- The Spartans again controlled the second set, dominating play.
- Sydnei Avery and Addy Gruse each had four kills.
- AU had a battle in the third set, trailing midway through and late 18-17.
- Two kills from Gruse and another from Avery led to a 25-21 set three win.

vs. Millikin University 
- AU came out slow in the first set and trailed 9-3 at a timeout.
- Over the next 23 points, the Spartans fought and eventually grabbed an 18-17 lead on a Dani Lauer kill.
- The Spartans won the final four points of the set and won 25-21. 
- 13 assists from Kaitlyn Beebe saw five different Spartans with two or more kills.
- AU led wire to wire in the second set with an identical 25-21 score from the opening set.
- Avery had five kills with 11 more assists from Beebe.
- The Spartans dropped the third set 25-18.
- In the fourth set, Beebe opened the set with three straight aces and set the tone immediately.
- AU led the entire set, winning 25-19 and the match 3-1.
