Records set in nail-biting victory over CUW

The Aurora University men's hockey team hosted the Falcons of Concordia University Wisconsin for the first game of the weekend NCHA series. The Spartans defeated the Falcons 6-5 to extend the Spartans winning streak to four games. Adam Keyes earned his 100th career point in the second period after tallying a power play goal while Freshman Carson Riddle recorded his first career goal. The 100 point plateau for Keyes is the first time a Spartan men's hockey player has reached that illustrious total.

How it happened
- Four minutes into the opening period the Spartans struck first on a power play tally. Gio Procopio scored on assists from Derrick Budz and Hassan Akl to give AU a 1-0 lead.
- The Falcons answered back five minutes later with the equalizer and the game was tied 1-1 with ten minutes remaining in the first period.
- A Falcon penalty gave the Spartans 5v4 advantage and Matt Weber scored the second power play tally of the night. He was assisted by Jaden Condotta and Jacob Brockman.
- AU led 2-1 heading into the first intermission. 
- Freshman Jaden Condotta joined in on the scoring action to open up the second. Nate Keeley assisted the tally to put the Spartans up by two. 
- At 7:21 in the second, Spartan Adam Keyes delivers on the power play to extend AU's lead 4-1. Hassan Akl and Derrick Budz recorded the assists.
- With the power play tally, Adam Keyes earns his 100th career point and becomes the first Spartan to reach triple digits in AU men's hockey program. Keyes now has 35 career goals and is tied with teammate Jack Jaunich for All-Time career leader in goals.
- With 1:04 remaining in the second period, Carson Riddle scored his first career goal on an assist from Derrick Budz to put the Spartans up 5-1.
- Within the first 10 minutes of the third period, the Falcons scored four goals to tie the contest 5-5. 
- AU kept the pressure on and with 21.6 seconds remaining Jacob Brockman scored the go ahead goal on assists from Brendan Blair and Jake Code
- With less than 20 seconds remaining, CUW pulled their goaltender for an extra skater but the Spartans were able to keep them from finding the back of the net.
- AU was victorious 6-5.
