The Aurora University men's soccer team got back to their winning ways against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday night at the Spartan Athletic Park pitch. The Spartans shutout the Warriors 1-0 to keep them unbeaten in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play.

- The Spartans put a shot on goal right away just 1:39 into the game from Carlos Viayra, which just missed hitting the back of the net,
- Anthony Marmolejo put a shot on goal just five minutes later that was saved by the Warriors.
- In the 24th minute, AU got the only goal of the game on the board thanks to Ben Gamino, who was assisted by Marmolejo.
- The Spartan defense only allowed the Warriors to get four shots on goal in the first half, all of which were saved by goalie Jalen Depenbrock.
- AU held their 1-0 lead going into the halftime break.
- In the 52nd minute, the Warriors got the first on goal of the second half that was saved by Depenbrock. 
- With 10 minutes left in the game, Depenbrock laid out to make save on a Warriors penalty kick, keeping the score 1-0 in favor of the Spartans.

- Depenbrock totaled six saves in the game.
- This now marks the fifth time this season the Spartans have shutout their opponent.
