The Aurora University Spartan football team kept their perfect record in tact with a 70-7 victory against Wisconsin Lutheran College at Spartan Athletic Park Field on Saturday Afternoon. Seven different Spartans got in on the scoring barrage as
Ian Luyando passed for three touchdowns in the game. The AU defense forced the Warriors a passing only attack, holding their offense in negative yards in rushing.

- WLC won the toss and deferred to the second half, which set the stage for Spartan returner
Cole Jackson who took the opening kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown.
- The 92 yard kick return sets a new AU record for long kick return for a touchdown in Spartan football history.
- After forcing a punt on Warriors first drive, AU marched down the field and scored on their first possession.
Ian Luyando found
Michael Boland for a 19-yard strike to make it 14-0.
- The Warriors scored on the next possession to make it 14-7 in favor of AU.
- The Spartan offense got right back to work on their next possession, scoring on a seven play, 72 yard drive.

Darius Dickerson took a rush around the left side for 27 yards to make it 21-7, (4:56 left)
- On the second play of the next WLC possession, Mikale-Ziah Smith came up with an interception that set up the Spartan offense on the WLC 38 yard line.
- WLC regained possession after an AU turnover, but the stifling Spartan defense forced the Warriors into a three and out with 2:57 left in the first quarter.
- At the start of the second quarter with the score still 21-7, Luyando connected with
Ty Pruett for his second touchdown pass of the game. The 24-yard strike put AU up 28-7.
- After a WLC turnover on downs, AU took only three plays on there next drive to put them ahead 35-7. Luyando connected with

- The Warriors were working on a seven play, 38 yard drive before the AU defense forced them into another turnover on downs.
- The Spartans didn't slow down as they converted a nine play, 63 yard drive into a 42-7 lead.
Jon Alstott was the catalyst on the drive that included a 34-yard run and a 1-yard score.
- For the third straight possession, AU forced WLC into another turnover on downs with
Joel Coston and
Jaylen Jordan combining for the stop.
- With 2:17 to go in the first half, the Warriors gained possession back on an interception. However, they weren't able to convert that into points and punted the ball back to AU. (00:29 left)

- The AU defense picked up where they left off in the first half, forcing WLC into another turnover on downs.

Jon Alstott to get back to work on the next drive with a 20-yard rush that put the Spartans back in position for a Luyando seven yard touchdown run.
- With 10:02 to go, AU gained possession back off an WLC punt. The Spartans then marched down the field on a seven play, 49-yard drive with Mautino scoring on a seven yard run.
- The Mautino touchdown put AU ahead 56-7 midway through the third.
- The AU offense added another rushing touchdown late in the third with
Darius Dickerson getting his second of the day on a 19-yard scamper.
- AU had the ball just twice in the fourth quarter with the first drive seeing
Tyler Adkins score his first rushing touchdown of his career and the second possession ending the game on kneel downs.
