The Aurora University women's hockey team opened dropped the second game of the weekend series with Bethel University 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at Fox Valley Ice Arena.

- Bethel came out firing and scored twice in the first period to lead AU 2-0.
- 3:41 into the second, Bethel scored to take a 3-0 lead and AU made a goalie change with
Tia Glube replacing
Marie Dedert in net.
- The Spartans would get on the board later in the second with the Matson sisters of Darci and Molly connecting. Molly assisted Darci.
- AU trailed Bethel 3-1 going to the second intermission.
- Early in the third the Spartans struck while short-handed.
Ava Eid collected her own rebound and put the shot home cutting the deficit to 3-2.
- AU had numerous chances the remainder of the game including the final minute with the empty net but could not get the equalizer.
- The Spartans would fall 3-2.
