FINAL SCORE: Aurora University 91, Concordia University Chicago 0
LOCATION: Concordia Stadium - River Forest, Illinois
RECORDS: Aurora University 5-0 overall and 3-0 NACC
GAME TIME: 2:47

How it happened
- CUC won the toss and deferred to the second-half, allowing reigning NACC Special Teams Player of the Week James Mautino to take the opening kickoff 51 yards into Cougar territory.
- The Cougars would force an AU fumble, but the Spartan defense came back to hold CUC to a three and out.
- On the Spartans second drive, Jhe'Quay Chretin broke loose on the second carry for a 73-yard touchdown to give AU an early 7-0 lead. He had two touches on the drive for 92 yards.
- After what would become a theme for the day, a CUC three and out, Ian Luyando found Ty Pruett for a 17-yard score halfway through the first quarter (8:39 left).
- The Spartans gained possession of the ball back with 6:59 remaining after a Cougar turnover on downs. This allowed Luyando to pickup where he left off with a 1-yard touchdown pass to Karsten Poole and AU led 21-0.
- AU forced the Cougars to punt again on the next drive and regained possession at their own 43 with 3:21 remaining.
- After marching down to the CUC 1-yard line, Chretin made his way across the goal line for his second score, giving AU a 28-0 lead with 1:37 still to go in the opening session.
- As the first quarter was expiring, Otis Watts forced a fumble for the Spartans that was recovered by Conner Nordmeyer.
- AU cashed in on the great field position with another scoring drive, as Luyando found Pruett again for a 15-yard touchdown.
- Mautino struck again, this time as a punt returner, on another CUC punt with a 61-yard dash to the end zone. This gave the Spartans a 35-0 lead with 12:14 remaining in the second quarter.
- The AU defense came up with their second turnover on the day on the next Cougar drive with Robbie Peterson Jr. picking off his third ball of the season. His 43 yard return set up the offense at the CUC 22.
- On the third play, Pruett collected his third receiving touchdown of the game off a 16-yard strike from Luyando.
- Following his first punt return score, Mautino wasn't finished. The senior took another punt from CUC to the end zone, this one 65-yards, to give AU a 56-0 lead with 8:32 in the second quarter.
- AU continued their stifling defense forcing the Cougars to punt once again on their next drive.
- Chretin capped off a six play, 37-yard drive for the Cougars with a three-yard score to give AU a 63-0 lead.
- CUC was forced to punt on their opening drive of the second half.
- Andrew Nordland blocked the punt, allowing the Spartans to start their first drive of the second half at the Cougar 14-yard line.
- Jon Alstott got in on the scoring barrage this time for AU with a five-yard touchdown run.
- Alstott gave AU a commanding 77-0 lead on the next drive with another score, this one from four-yards out.
- The Spartan offense took back over with 3:40 remaining in the third quarter. Alstott continued his impressive day on the ground with another touchdown run, his third of the game.
- This gave AU a 84-0 lead with the third quarter winding down.
- Zack Russell scored his second touchdown of the season with a two-yard run in the fourth quarter.
- The AU defense did not allow CUC to get any points up in the second half, capping off the 91-0 shutout victory.
- Additionally the Spartan defense only allowed one CUC drive inside AU territory no the afternoon.
