After celebrating senior day with a 3-0 victory over Alverno College in the early afternoon, the Aurora University women's volleyball team took on Elmhurst Universoty in a night cap, defeating the visitors 3-1 (25-18, 19-25, 25-20, 29-27)..

- The Spartans used strong hitting a aces from
Lulu Torres and
Celeste Cozzoni to rally from an early first set deficit.
- AU would win the opening set 25-18 behind a 323 hitting percentage with seven Spartans collecting a kill led by five from
Kate Poellmann.
- An early deficit was brought even but the Spartans fell behind and dropped the second set 25-19.
- The Spartans continued their hot hitting (.273) as
Hannah Joseph assisted on 14 points to five different attackers.
- The pivotal third set was closely played with AU managing a slim lead almost throughout.
- Torres led with way with six kills and a set ending ace in the 25-20 win.
- The fourth set had AU and Elmhurst go point for point with 20 tie scores and 10 lead changes.

Dani Lauer kill tied the score at 16-16, Elmhurst would run off four points to lead 20-16 and eventually 22-18.
- Trailing 23-20, AU rallied to tie the game with a monster kill from middle
