The Aurora University women's hockey team traveled to Adrian, Michigan for an NCHA matchup against $10 Adrian College. Despite leading after the first period, the Spartans fell to the Bulldogs by a score of 4-1.

Stephanie Schmunk found the back of the Adrian net for her second goal of the season.. Schmunk was assisted by

- Despite out-shooting Adrian 23-12 in the first, AU was unable to increase their lead heading into the first intermission.
- Adrian tied the game just over four minutes into the second period with a power play goal.
- The Bulldogs scored another two goals at the 5:29 and 5:58 mark of the second period to make it 3-1.
- An Adrian penalty at the end of the second gave the Spartans a five on four player power play, as they just missed a couple of chances to cut the deficit.
- This kept the Spartans trailing 3-1 still heading into the second intermission.
- The Bulldogs scored one more at the end of the third period to make the score 4-1.
- Although the Spartans put 13 shots on goal in the final period, they were unable to decrease the Adrian lead.
- This kept the final score at 4-1.
