The Aurora University men's basketball team hosted Beloit College on Tuesday night in a non-conference battle on Lancaster Court in Thornton Gymnasium. A balanced scoring attack saw the Spartans get back to their winning ways in a 71-57 victory.

- Back to back baskets from Josh Holmes gave AU an early 9-5 lead through five minutes.
- A three-pointer from Isaiah Davis propelled the Spartans to their largest lead of the first half at nine with 5:40 to go.
- The Spartan defense held Beloit to just 27% shooting in the first half.
-This allowed AU to take a 26-21 lead into halftime.
- After trading buckets to start the second half, a Michael Osborne jumper put AU out in front 38-36 with 12:48 to go. The Spartans never lost this lead the rest of the game.
- AU would then go on a 10-0 run to put them ahead by double digits.
- From 4:53 to 2:22, the Spartans would go on a 9-0 run to put them ahead 67-49.
- Davis was on fire in the second half, hitting three treys to finish with 17 points.
- Osborne ended with 16 points and led AU with seven rebounds.
- Mekhi Doby was everywhere defensively, collecting three steals and two blocks. AU swatted away eight shots as a team.
- AU shot 50% from three-point range in both the first and second half to lead them to the 71-57 victory.
