The Aurora University women's volleyball team advanced in the 2023 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament with a quick sweep of Benedictine University on Tuesday night in Thornton Gymnasium. AU defeated their rival from Lisle 3-0, winning 25-20, 25-20, 25-19 in front of an energetic crowd.

- AU trailed for a good portion of the opening set with the largest deficit being four points at 13-9.
- The Spartans hung with the Eagles and grabbed a 19-18 and 20-19 lead thanks to errors from the visitors.

Dani Lauer and
Katelyn Ruse had kills in the final points for the 25-20 AU set win.

Celeste Cozzoni and Lauer each had four kills in the set to lead the Spartans who finished with a .242 attack.

Hannah Joseph had 12 assists and four digs in the frame.

Hannah Evenson served to a 8-1 lead in the second set with Evenson having three aces to force an early BU timeout.
- The visitors would rally though and take a 16-15 lead but the Spartans turned to
Lulu Torres and Cozzoni down the stretch of the second set for thr 25-20 win.
- Torres had six kills in the second to lead the AU attack.
- The third set was close early but AU pulled away midway through for a 25-19 win.
- The Spartans hit .354 in the final set to win the match.Â
- Torres hit .600 with nine kills in the third set victory.
