The Aurora University women's basketball team traveled to Lakeland University for their first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match-up of the 2023-2024 season. A strong second half saw the Spartans pull away easily over Muskies 86-60.

- After trailing 11-6 through the first four minutes, AU would go on a 7-0 run.
- The first quarter finished with the Spartans down 18-15.
- Eliot Dojutrek let AU in the frame with nine points.
- Hot three point shooting saw the Spartans retake a 24-23 lead at the 7:01 mark of the second quarter, including a couple of treys from Macy Kocen.
- With already five lead changes in the second quarter alone, the Spartans would go on a 12-0 run taking full momentum.
- Over 55% shooting in the second quarter helped give AU a lead that they never lost the rest of the way.
- AU would go into halftime with a 39-32 lead.
- The second half started with a 12-1 run from the Spartans. Dojutrek continued her hot shooting with eight points during the run.
- The stifling AU defense did not allow Lakeland to score their first second half basket until the 3:36 mark in the third.
- Lakeland scored just seven points in the quarter which allowed the Spartans to carry 69-39 lead to the fourth quarter. 
- AU was able to cruise to an 86-60 victory after outscoring Lakeland 47-28 in the second half. 
- AU forced Lakeland into comitting 20 turnovers in the game as seven different Spartans were able to collect a steal, including a couple each from Sam Barrett and Kylie Fischbach.
- Dojutrek shot an efficient 7-10 and finished with a game high 17 points.
- The Spartans dominated around the basket outscoring Lakeland 42-22 in the paint.
