The Aurora University women's hockey team continued their series against the University of Dubuque with another Northern Collegiate Hockey Association match-up on Saturday afternoon at Fox Valley Ice Arena.
Darci Matson led AU with two goals as they cruised to a 5-1 victory.

- Dubuque scored their only goal on a power play at the 6:01 mark of the first period.
- AU was able to get the equalizer while shorthanded just over three minutes later.
Darci Matson broke away from the Dubuque defense and sniped one into the back of the net.

Aurora Williams wasted no time extending the AU lead to 3-1. She was set up off assists from
Melina Cane and
Cara Cook.
- AU carried this 3-1 lead into the first intermission.
- AU opened the second half on a power play, but were unable to increase their lead.
- The second period was scoreless until the 18:45 mark, when AU made it 4-1 again while shorthanded.
Darci Matson picked up a puck in the Dubuque defensive zone and juggled the puck over a defender for her second goal.
- AU out shot Dubuque 22-12 in the second period and held their 4-1 advantage into the second intermission.
- Cook got in on the scoring action four minutes into the third period. She scored her third goal of the season, unassisted for a 5-1 AU lead.
- The rest of the third played scoreless as AU remained in control.
- AU finished with a 5-1 victory.
