The Aurora University men's hockey team was back in action Saturday night as they hosted game two of the conference weekend series against Milwaukee School of Engineering. Prior to puck drop, the Spartans celebrated the graduating class of 2023, honoring seven seniors. The Spartans were down 3-0 early in the contest, but five goals late in the third resulted in a 7-6 victory.

- MSOE struck first and took a 2-0 lead midway through the opening period.
- 20 seconds into the second period, the Raiders struck again to extend their lead 3-0.
- Less than five minutes later, the Spartans answered back when Giovanni Procopio scored on assists from
Hassan Akl and
Simon Boyko.

Jack Jaunich brought the Spartans back within one two minutes later with an even strength tally. He was assisted by fellow seniors
Adam Keyes and
Brendan Blair.
- The Raiders added two before the end of the period, leading 5-2.
- Just under two minutes into the third period, senior
Adam Keyes netted his first of the night and the Spartans trailed 5-3 with 18:55 remaining.
- Midway through the third, two MSOE players found themselves in the penalty box and the Spartans had a 5v3 advantage.
Derrick Budz recorded the power play tally on assists from
Jack Jaunich and
Gio Procopio to bring AU back within one.
- MSOE responded with one to extend their lead 6-4.
- With 7:02 left on the clock,
Adam Keyes recorded his second tally of the night.
- Less than a minute later,
Juliano Santalucia got the equalizer with a power play tally. He was assisted by
Jack Jaunich.
- The Spartans and Bulldogs were tied 6-6 with 6:05 remaining.
- An MSOE penalty gave the Spartans the power play advantage and
Matt Weber scored the game winner on assists from
Adam Keyes and
Juliano Santalucia.
- The Raiders pulled their goalie for an extra skater in hopes of tying the game, but Spartan defensive unit in front of
Tanner Marshall kept MSOE from finding the back of the net.
- The Spartans were victorious 7-6.
