The Aurora University Spartan men's volleyball team adjusted on the fly on Friday, planning for a trimatch with Lakeland University and Baldwin Wallace University but mother nature had other plans. So the Spartans and Yellow Jackets from Baldwin Wallace squared off with the Spartans delivering the sting with a 3-0 victory.

- The Spartans opened up an 8-3 lead in the opening set and forced a Yellow Jacket timeout.
- BWU battled back into the set with AU leading until 20-19.
- The set remained tight with both teams serving for set point.
- Kills from John McCormack and Lucas Meier sealed the 28-26 opening set AU win.
- The second set was tightly played with the Spartans and Yellow Jackets trading leads on numerous occasions.
- McCormack and Meier again went back to back late in the set to give AU a 22-20 lead.
- Mateo Scharosch got the set winning kill and AU went up 2-0 with a 25-22 win.
- Midway through the third set, AU called on Ethan Kane and he delivered a momentum changing kill to put AU ahead 16-15.
- Two James Karwin around another Kane kill and AU led 19-15.
- Kane and Karwin teamed up for the final two points and AU was victorious 25-20 and won the match 3-0.
