The Aurora University men's volleyball team had the Kingsmen of California Lutheran University in Thornton Gymnasium on Thursday night with the visitors winning 3-0.

- The Spartans and Kingsmen battled in the opening set and following a
Matthew Nelson kill for AU, the score was tied 13-13.
- CLU pulled away though and defeated AU 25-19.
- The second set played out almost identical to the first with two
John McCormack kills bringing AU to within one at 15-14 and 16-15 before the visitors pulled away and won 25-18.
- AU led 2-0 in the third set but CLU controlled the rest of the set as the Spartans fell 25-16.
