The Aurora University men's lacrosse team returned to Spartan Athletic Park for a non-conference matchup against CCIW opponent Illinois Wesleyan University. The Spartans fell 16-7.

- Illinois Wesleyan jumped out to a 1-0 win lead with a man-up goal. 
- Before the end of the first quarter, the Spartans scored two back to back goals to take a 2-1 lead. Owen Spencer got AU on the board first with an assist from Zach Bernstein. Ben Strub followed on an assist from Reilan Pura. 
- The Titans scored three goals in the second quarter to retake a 4-2 lead. 
- In the final 53.3 seconds, Zach Bernstein scored to bring the Spartans back within one. He was assisted by Carson Leader. 
- 20 seconds later, the Titans added one and led 5-3 going into halftime. 
- IWU scored three goals in the third to extend their lead 8-3. 
- The Spartans scored the next three goals. With 2:18 remaining in the quarter, Reilan Pura scored and was followed by Brody Macdonald with a man-up goal. Jimmy Gorecki scored with 0.01 left on the clock and AU trailed 9-6 heading into the final quarter. 
- The Titans scored the first two goals of the fourth. 
- 10:14 left on the clock, Zach Bernstein scored his second of the night. 
- IWU scored the games final five goals and AU fell 16-7.
