After a delay due to a weather related power outage in the semi-final game of the 2022-2023 NCHA Slaats Cup Playoffs in Adrian, Michigan against St. Norbert College, the Spartans of Aurora University fell to St. Norbert College 5-1.

- Late in the first period, the Spartans went to a penalty kill for a second time on the day.
- With 2:01 left in the first, SNC scored to go ahead 1-0.
- AU trailed 1-0 going to the first intermission.
- Early in the second, SNC scored a second power play goal and then 19 seconds later struck again to go up 3-0 on AU.
- The AU power play struck with 5:50 to go in the second. Ava Eid put the Spartans on the board with assists from Darci Matson and Peyton Elliott.
- Less than a minute later SNC would push their lead back to three with a goal.
- AU trailed 4-1 going to the third.
- SNC scored the only goal of the third period and AU would fall by a 5-1 final score.
