The Aurora University baseball team got money pitching efforts from
Nick Malmberg and
Bryce Miller while the offense bashed 31 hits to sweep the day, defeating Saint Joseph College of Maine (13-0 - 7 innings) and St. John Fisher University 11-1 (7 innings).

- The Spartans jumped out to a quick 4-0 in the first inning and got started with three consecutive singles from
Nico Bermeo,
Jacob Ambuel and
Justin Sartori before a three-run bases clearing double from
Jett Wedekind. Wedekind later scored on a sac fly from
Josh Reinhardt.
- The AU offense went back to work in the third with a lead off triple from Ambuel being followed by a long
Justin Sartori home run. Wedekind followed with his second double in as many at bats and scored in a Brendan Naylor single. Reinhardt would single, followed by a run scoring double from
Collin Meinert.
Derek Angelo would drive in Reinhardt with a sac fly and
Dominick Curcio rounded out the hit parade with a run scoring single of his own.
- After 2-1/2 innings, AU led by a commanding score of 10-0.

Game Two vs. St. John Fisher University
- A grand slam from
Nik Panico in the first inning was all the Spartans would need in game two with
Justin Sartori doubling in
Nico Bermeo ahead of the big fly.
- A lead off single from
Josh Reinhardt in the third eventually saw Rainhardt come around to score on a Bermeo sac fly.
- St. John Fisher scored the first and only run AU pitching would allow on the day in the fourth on a solo home run.
- In the fifth, the AU offense answered with a four spot with
Jacob Ambuel having a two run double, a run scoring single from Sartori and Panico drove in his fifth of the afternoon with a base knock.
- After 4-1/2, AU led 10-1.
- Panico put the game out of reach in the seventh with a solo home run, his second homer of the day and sixth run batted in.
- With the 10-run lead, AU had their second run shortened game of the day, winning 11-1.
