The Aurora University Spartan baseball team brought the offense in the trip to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The Spartans won a pair in slug fest fashio, 18-14 and 15-5 in 7innings.

GAME ONE
- AU fell behind 1-0 in the first but a relay of Jacob Ambuel to Collin Meinert to Jett Wedekind with the successful tag kept the score at 1-0.
- Heading to the third, AU trailed 3-0.
- The Spartan bats came to life in the third, scoring four runs on four hits with run scoring doubles from Ambuel and Justin Sartori.
- After Marian tied the score in the bottom of the third, the AU offense took back the lead in the fourth. 
- Dominick Curcio and Nico Bermeo started the fourth with back to back doubles. A Wedekind single drove in Bermeo for the 6-4 lead.
- Marian put up six runs in the fifth to take a 10-6 lead.
- After a scoreless sixth, the Spartans scored twice in the seventh with run scoring singles from Curcio and Sartori.
- In a sign of what was to come the rest of the game, Marian answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning.
- Heading to the eighth, AU trailed 12-8.
- Spartan Josh Reinhardt led off the inning with a solo home run on what would be the only hit in a five run inning for AU.
- In the bottom of the inning, Marian again scored two runs and took back the lead at 14-13 going to the ninth.
- For the second consecutive inning Reinhardt led off with a homer and the game was tied 14-14.
- Two walks, two hit by pitches and just one more hit a two-run single from Ambuel put AU ahead 17-14.
- A saf fly from Sartori scored Bermeo for an 18-14 lead going to the last of the ninth.
- Carlos Garcia had a clean second inning of work for the relief win.

GAME TWO
- The Spartans wasted little time jumping out to a huge lead in game two, batting around in the first, scoring eight runs thanks to five walks or hit batsmen and three hits.
- A two-run double from Josh Reinhardt and a three-run single from Jacob Ambuel were the big hits in the frame.
- The second saw AU score six more runs with another Reinhardt double, a two-run single from Spencer Ruch and a three-run homer from Nico Bermeo.
- After 1-1/2 innings, AU led 14-0 for pitcher Bryce Miller.
- A run crossed for AU in the fourth with Dominick Curcio leading off with a walk, one of three in the game for him, and he would score on a Brenden Naylor single.
- Marian scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth and one each in the sixth and seventh but the Spartans held on for the mercy rule win 15-5.
- Tyler Preissing faced one batter in the seventh, getting a 5-4-3 double play to end the game as Bryce Miller won his third game of the season.
