The Aurora University women's soccer team nearly took home their first win in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play on Saturday, tying Concordia University Wisconsin 3-3 on the Chelsea Lloyd Memorial Game.

-AU took an early 1-0 lead in the 4th minute of the game off the foot of Aidyn Hesuse for her first goal of the season.
-The Spartans wasted no time scoring again, as Hesuse assisted Lauren Bliefernicht to put AU up 2-0 in the 7^th minute of the game.
-Concordia Wisconsin answered back less than three minutes later for their first goal of the game.
-In the 32^nd minute, AU regained their 2-goal lead off the foot of Grace Grundhofer for her first goal of the season.
-The Spartans took their 3-1 lead into halftime.
-Concordia scored their second goal of the game in the 60^th minute to make the score 3-2.
-Less than two minutes later, Concordia scored again to tie the game at three.
-With one minute remaining, Spartan goalkeeper Melina Cane made one final save on a Concordia corner kick to keep the game locked 3-3.
