The Aurora University women's soccer team hosted Lakeland University for a Saturday afternoon conference matchup on AU's homecoming. The Spartans shutout the Muskies 3-0.

-In the 10th minute, Kyra Karrer got the first shot on goal for either team.
-Madison Hougan recorded two shots on goal in the 22nd and 26th minute, but neither was able to find the back of the Muskies net.
-The strong Spartan defense only allowed Lakeland to get one shot on goal in the first half.
-AU outshot Lakeland 16-3 in the first half.
-The Spartans started a barrage of scoring in the 49th minute, with Lauren Bliefernicht assisting Emma Delgado.
-Nine minutes later, that same combination teamed up to make it 2-0 in favor of AU.
-Jessica Mirsky broke away from the Lakeland defense to score her first goal of the season in the 62nd minute, making it 3-0.
-Lakeland did not get their first shot on goal in the second half until the 69th minute.
