The Aurora University women's hockey team held a 2-0 lead in the second period over the St. Norbert College Green Knights on Sunday morning but saw the lead disappear as the game went into overtime. AU would fall in the five round shootout 3-2 but collected the road tie.

- The Spartans had to fight off three penalties in the first period but still out shot SNC 11-5 but the period was scoreless.
- Early in the second period (3:21) AU scored.
Peyton Elliott gave AU their first lead of the series with an assist from
Samira Schmidt.
- Almost five minutes later and on a power play the Spartans struck again.

Cara Cook carried the puck into the zone before passing to
Stephanie Schmunk who immediately hit a driving
Erin Campbell.
- Campbell found the back of the Green Knight net and AU had a 2-0 lead.
- With just over six minutes left in the second, SNC scored to cut the AU lead to 2-1.
- Early in the third the Spartans took their fourth penalty of the game and the hosts made them pay.
- The SNC power play goal tied the game and the score would remain 2-2 as the game went to overtime.
- Each team got one shot off in the overtime session as the game remained tied 2-2 and headed to a shootout.
- After each team was denied in the first round, AU's
Darci Matson converted her shot in round two.
- SNC would tie the shootout in the third round with both fourth round shooters scoring (
Cara Cook - AU).
- In the fifth round, SNC would score to win the shootout 3-2.
