The Aurora University women's basketball team traveled to Illinois Institute of Technology for a mid-week NACC match-up. A strong third quarter and balanced scoring attack gave the Spartans the easy 84-55 victory over the Hawks.

- AU went on an 8-0 scoring run to gain an early 13-10 lead in the first quarter.
- Four different Spartans scored during the run to get AU off to the hot shooting start.
- A layup from Sam Barrett in the final seconds of the first frame put AU out in front 24-15.
- Ava Barszcz led the Spartans in the first with six points and four rebounds.
- Macy Kocen caught fire with eight straight points to give AU a 35-23 lead halfway through the second quarter.
- Two straight baskets from Kylie Fischbach in the final minute of the second gave the Spartans a 44-28 lead going into the halftime break.
- AU forced the hosts into shooting just 27% from the field in the first half while also dominating the glass 30-19. Selena Vargas came down with eight boards in the first two quarters.
- Kocen led the balanced scoring attack with 10 first half points.
- The Spartans picked up right where they left off and outscored the Hawks by a 26-3 margin in the third frame.
- Eight different Spartans found the scoring column in the third as AU got out to a 68-31.
- The Hawks made just one basket in the third quarter.
- Eight different Spartans again found the bottom of the net in the fourth quarter as each team emptied their benches.
- AU ended with 84-55 victory.
- The Spartans bench outscored their opponent's by a 52-15 margin.
- Kocen led the offensive charge with 15 points, while Barszcz finished with 14.
- Selena Vargas pulled down 15 rebounds, while Kylie Fischback came up with four steals.
