The Aurora University men's track and field team competed at the Blue Demon Alumni Invitational hosted by DePaul University.
Nate Bermes won the meet in the pole vault after two rounds of a jump-off, clearing 4.05.
Steven Tinsley placed second in the meet in the Shot Put with a mark of 14.97. He is currently ranked second in the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference.

Armando Acosta won their heat of the 4x400 meter relay, placing fifth overall in the meet. Their time of 3:29.10 currently ranks them second in the NACC.
Nick Tannhauser placed fifth in the Shot Put with a mark of 12.98.
Acosta placed eighth in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:57.72. His banked track conversion of 1:59.40 is tenth in school history. He is currently ranked second in the NACC.
Sam Brown ran a five second PR of 9:06.80 in the 3k. His banked track conversion of 9:13.14 is tenth in school history.
Ethan Sena placed fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.75.
