The Aurora University women's hockey team came back to their home ice for the second game of the weekend series against Marian University at the Fox Valley Ice Arena. The Spartans secured a series sweep, shutting out the Sabres 6-0, with a four-goal performance in the second period.

- The Spartans had 25 shots on goal in the opening period, but wasn't able to put any past the Sabres goaltender as the teams went to the locker room tied 0-0.
- In the second period, the Spartans unloaded on the Sabres, scoring four goals in the frame.
- Haley Knauf broke the deadlock with a power-play tally just 1:09 into the period, assisted by Darci Matson and Madison Gasper.
- Anabelle Scriver extended the Spartans lead, capitalizing on a dropped puck from the Sabres goaltender to make it 2-0. Molly and Darci Matson recorded the assists.
- Less than two minutes later, Emiliana Cassillo scored her first career goal, assisted by Melina Cane and Ellie Visser, extending the Spartans lead to 3-0 midway through the period.
- Just before the close of the second period, Haley Knauf scored her second goal of the day with a pass from Erin Campbell and Rachel Campoli.
- In the final period, the Spartans showed no sign of slowing down, taking 23 shots on goal and scoring two goals in the final frame.
- Darci Matson added to the scoring spree, tallying her first goal of the day midway through the third. Matson capitalized on a pass from Julianna Gallenero and Anabelle Scriver.
- The closing goal of the day was scored by Anabelle Scriver, who netted her second of the day with an assist from Ellie Visser.
- AU dominated the game, shutting out Marian with a final score of 6-0.
