The Aurora University men's basketball team took to the road for a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match-up with Dominican University. Despite a 27 point night from Michael Osborne, the Spartans fell to the Stars 66-62.

- AU got out to an early 17-7 lead after a three-pointer from Michael Osborne with 13:40 to go in the first half.
- A pair of free throws from Noah Butler with just under a minute left in the half allowed the Spartans to retake a 34-32 lead.
- AU led 34-33 going into the halftime break.
- The Spartans converted eight points off turnovers in the first half as opposed to the Stars not scoring any.
- AU also saw an advantage on fast break points outscoring the Stars 7-0.
- Osborne led all scorers at the half with 13 points.
- After trailing by as many as 14 to start the second half, the Spartans went on a 9-0 run to cut the Stars lead to 59-54 with 5:28 left.
- A couple of baskets from Joevonn McCottry put AU within one possession at the 3:18 mark.
- The Spartans were unable to get any closer and fell to the Stars 66-62. 
- AU did win the turnover battle 11-6.
- Osborne ended up leading all scorers with 27 points and added seven rebounds.
