The Aurora University men's soccer team went back on the road Wednesday afternoon following their 4-1 Homecoming victory over Marian University last Saturday. This time, the Spartans squared off against the Regents of Rockfrod University and handled them easily in a 4-0 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference win.

- AU got going in the 17th minute when
Carlos Viayra found
Adrian Maldonado for his first goal of the season and 1-0 Spartan lead.
- Less than six minutes later,
Enrique Gonzalez found some space off a pass from
Jaziel Enriquez and netted his 13th goal of the season for a 2-0 AU lead.
- Ben Gamino tacked on another for AU before the end of the first half for the 3-0 Spartan advatadge. He was assisted by
Omar Saldana and Viayra.
- Rockford got just one shot on goal during the first 45 minutes, which was not a problem for AU goalie
Alex Ageladelis.
- AU took their 3-0 lead into the halftime break.
- In the 60th minute, Gonzalez netted an unassisted goal for his second of the game and 14th of the season. This increased the lead to 4-0.
- The stifling Spartan defense did not allow the Regents to apply any offensive pressure in the second half, as AU out shot the hosts 14-0 in the final 45 minutes.
- This allowed AU to easily cruise to the 4-0 victory.
