The Aurora University women's soccer team took the Spartan Athletic Park pitch on Wednesday night following their Homecoming victory last Saturday over Marian University. This time, the Spartans squared off against the Regents of Rockford University in more Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action. AU took care of the visitors 3-0 for their second win of the season and first win in conference play.

- AU immediately applied pressure on the Rockford defense as
Madison Hougan put a shot on goal just a minute and a half into the match.

Dahlia Perez found some space in the Rockford defensive zone and struck one from over 20 yards out that found the top left back corner of the net 9:33 into the first half. Perez's goal made it 1-0 Spartans.
- The Spartans put five shots on goal before the 10 minute mark of the first half, causing problems for the Regent defense early.
- Neither team got a shot until just 10 seconds left in the first half, which was easily saved by AU goalie
Melina Cane.
- AU dominated possession time in the first half and took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.

McKenna Kunz made it 2-0 Spartans in the 57th minute after maneuvering her way around a Rockford defender and getting it inside the box for a goal. Perez picked up an assist on the play.
- In the 86th minute, that lead became 3-0 off a sweet dish from Perez for her second assist of the match. Perez's pass split two Rockford defenders and found
Lauren Bliefernicht for the eventual AU goal.
- That score would hold until the final buzzer, as Rockford managed to only get one more shot on goal in the second half for a total of two in the game.
- This resulted in the 3-0 win for AU.
