On Saturday afternoon, the Aurora University women's soccer team returned to their home field for the second game of the doubleheader at Spartan Athletic Park. The Spartans battled against the St. Norbert College Green Knights in a conference match-up. Despite trailing 2-0 in the first half, the Spartans kept the pressure on.

-  The Spartans found themselves trailing 2-0 in the early minutes of the first half.
-  As the clock wound down, Dahliah Perez unleashed a free kick with two minutes left, but it just skimmed over the crossbar.
- Goalkeeper Melina Cane made seven saves in the first half.
- In an effort to spark their offense, the Spartans controlled possession and launched five shots from four different players: Natalie Fernandez, Dahlia Perez, Lauren Bliefernicht (2), and Larissa Barreto.:
- In the 84th minute, the Green Knights scored again, pushing their lead to 3-0.
- In the closing minutes, the Spartans took a few more shots, making a determined push before the end of regulation.

Next scheduled action for the Spartan women's soccer team comes on Wednesday, October 30 when travel to Benedictine University. Opening kickoff scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Lisle, Illinois.
